The AquaRain #402 is housed in the same large stainless 3 gallon capacity unit  that houses the AquaRain #404-Family unit. This filter comes with 2 full size filter elements and will have two additional holes that can utilized in the future.  Two rubber plugs will fill the holes until removed. You can order two additional filter elements either now or later, and save these as back-up elements or to be used if increased out-put is needed..  This is a great filter for a family of 3-4 and can always be added to with two additional filter elements.
