Perfect for the individual, a small family or a couple 1-4 Persons
This AquaRain Water Filter is perfect for a single person, couple or small family. It is approximately half the size of the larger units, #402 and #404 which hold 3 gallons. The stainless chambers of the #202 hold 1 1/2 gallons of water and contain 2 of the full size high performance ceramic filters. You can fill up the top chamber before retiring for the night and in the morning you will have 1 1/2 gallons of pure, great tasting water--perfect for morning coffee or tea. You can then refill and by noon have another 1 1/2 gallons of water. In an emergency where more water is needed, you could keep the top chamber topped off and obtain about 12 gallons per day.

What will you do if the power grid goes down and the tap is dry? Wells won't pump without power as well.
Keep in mind, the filter elements can be cleaned up to 200 times and will filter many thousands of gallons of water. Each filter element comes with an end of life: gauge which means you won't have to guess when the life of the filter is up. That would be very important if using contaminated water sources. This filter system is perfect for tap water or well water now but most importantly, in an emergency, water may be obtained from any source, including river, ponds, rainbarrels, old stored water, toliet tanks-you name it!
